Blue Crab
Callinectes sapidus
|
Blue crabs are three to nine inches wide with an olive-colored oval shell, or from their bright blue legs. As with most crustaceans, the eyes of blue crabs are perched on short flexible stalks. The two pairs of antennae, which are used for smelling and feeling, are actually extensions of their brains.
