Ferns are found in every rainforest. There are over seven hundred different species of ferns. The Malaysian tree fern is one of the tallest. It can grow to be fifty feet tall. Most ferns grow on the forest floor, but some are epiphytes, that grow on other trees for support. Many kinds of ferns are plentiful, and all like the warm, humid environment of the rainforest.
