1992: Research for A Swim through the Sea

This is a practice painting which I did while doing research for A Swim through the Sea. This is one of the first journals I made. Here you can see that I pasted this drawing onto a page of lined paper in my journal. That way I didn't have to draw on the lines, which is tricky sometimes. I also like to paste or tape things like tickets to the zoo, or photos of my friends into my journals sometimes. -K
