1999: Summer Vacation in California

A favorite pastime of mine is to hang out in coffee houses. I almost always bring a sketchbook or journal, because I have a tendency to get good ideas in these interesting places. Even if I don't think of something amazing, there are always interesting people to draw there. This guy said he was a Veteran of the Korean War. I colored in his shirt and face with coffee. -K
