1993: My Trip to the Cayman Islands

In March, my family took a short vacation to the Cayman Islands. This was the first time I had ever gone snorkeling. I remember my dad and I went down to the beach with our masks to practice, and I couldn't believe how many colorful fish were right there at the shore! It was amazing. One day, we found a baby octopus hiding in a shell. When I picked it up, it squirted water in my eye! -K
